Should I remove these puppys

:shock: My fear is they will grow into the body of the mother. What do you think :roll:

No, they will grow out from the body of the mother. You will get a cluster of heads.

If you let them grow longer, they will make better cuttings if a bit larger and you want to remove some of them for propagation.

Generally it is not offsets from the scion you need to remove unless you wish to propagate more like it as ESP says, but offsets from the stock as these grow at the expense of the stock feeding the scion.

However I have sometimes obtained a species from the stock I did not previously have from an offset I let grow on the stock a little longer before removing it. But they do grow at the scions expense to a certain extent. However removed stock offsets can also be rooted down and used to get starts for propagating more grafting stock for use in future.
