That’s a sad state of affairs. Glad they busted it.
I’m told that not far away from me on a serpentine rock outcropping within the San Jose city limits is a rare Dudleya species, probably the one alluded to in the article. Though from the photos I’ve seen it’s unlikely to be much of a collectible plant. Still cool tho.

That is pretty fascinating. I live on the Mendocino coast and enjoy seeing these plants in flower every year. I am glad these plants are being returned
