Hello everyone I thought I'd start a thread because I wanted to see what people's favourite photo (plant related or otherwise) was.

Here are a few of mine just taken with the camera on my phone.

Don't take many "normal" photographs, most of mine are close-up record shots of cacti.
Here are a few I took in Spain though.

Comares, Andalucía, Spain.

I like to show off my country as much as i can so here goes...
All photos are taken on my phone (no effects whatosever with minor exposure or contrast changes) either by me or friends. Some are taken on a friend's drone.
These are all my favorite

The La Maroma one was taken about 5 miles inland from Torre del Mar/Velez Malaga, a bit further along the coast from Malaga. I was staying in a little villa up in the hills away from the touristy coast on the road to Canillas de Aceituna.

This was Zaffaraya Pass, the way the road goes through the hills inland.

"In 1979, a cave was discovered near to the Zafarraya Pass (Cueva del Boquete de Zafarraya), with a subsequent archaeological dig unearthing the best preserved remains of Neanderthal man (radiometrically dating back 30000 years) ever found in Western Europe.

Importantly, the find was one of the first pieces of definite evidence showing that Neanderthals co-existed with modern humans for almost 10,000 years, disproving earlier theories that they had been quickly replaced by modern man."

I see very cool pictures, few are of plants, but all are cool. Or at least, people who posted the pictures like them for sure and are proud of them. No reason to reply in a thread only to express a negative opinion. ( Or I completely misunderstood your comment; sorry in this case).

I think he meant he has seen nice places in his country but hasn't taken any cool photos like everyone else. I think...

If you are into abstracts and use post processing you can use the filter effects available on most processing software. It's always a personal opinion as to if they work however. These two were using filter effects on flowers using Photoshop Elements, but plenty of free similar processing software on the web.
