I think you allready know, but just in case Anacampseros and related, are members of the caryophyllales, and somewhat connected to cacti and aiozaceae. (and i know carpobrotus may be self-fertile as well)Many Anacampseros (& Avonia etc) as well as various mesembs are self-fertile, off the top of my head. I'm sure there are many more.
