BCSS National Show August 20th

Post by DaveW »

If anybody is in the UK on the 20th of this month, particularly London end of the UK it is the British Cactus & Succulent Society National Show. This is held every four years and has plenty of trade stands as well as the show itself. As I recall there was ample parking last time I went and is open to the public.

Godmanchester is indicated by the red marker on this map (do not confuse with Manchester which is the other end of the country):-

Can only find these on YouTube of the event so far and the videographer has panned a little too quickly therefore they are a little blurred:-

One of the best shows so far with quite a few dealers from the EU selling plants.

In England Maja foreigners start north or south of the River Trent according to where you are born, so they are all "Others" to us, even more so when we leave the EU. I was born 4 miles north of the Trent, so I guess that makes me a Northerner! 8)

Compiler of the list probably did not know where they were all coming from Maja, so put "Other" for the ones he did not know.
