Thank you for your comment, Aiko. Sometimes I have the impression that they are just surviving. Or, at least, they are very slow. The plants of the second batch apparently won't grow...but they don't die, neither...for the first time I am having success in keeping alive some Lapidaria, Argyroderma, Lithops, Conophytum, Fenestraria and Aloinopsis. But I decided to not sow any Mesembs for a while, to see if they are really doing fine or just surviving.

One of these warm nights I was in the greenhouse and noticed that I could separate my plants in two big blocks according to the continent of origin. Since I have two benches, one would be America and the other would be Africa.
Once I decided that, and once the plants were already practically organized like that, I could not see a plant in the wrong side and had to move it to the other side. It is completely useless. But...
So this is America:

And this is Africa (well, with a few Intruders from the Mediterranean, Asia and Arabic Peninsula):

If I had more space I would think in organizing the "America" according to the latitude of origin of each plant...

Next posts I may show details from "America" or "Africa".

I've always wished to do something like this! It looks amazing, as do all the the plants, each one a work of art unto itself. And that Stapelia continues to flower beautifully.

Thank you! And yes, indeed, the Stapelia is still flowering like crazy, I'm impressed.

Thank you, Spok!

A second individual of Stapelia flavopurpurea is in bloom. I have the impression that the flowers are slightly different in color, more pink than the first one.

Mesembs are still a mistery to me. Never know if they are doing fine or not...some Pleiospilos give me the impression they are getting smaller. Most of them keep a single leaf pair. Only one of about 20 is splitting, and one is in bloom. Looks like things happen randomly here.

Ah, you got one blooming, great!
I haven't seen any blooms in mine after maybe 3 years of having them? Right now they are being attacked by red mites, so things are not looking good.
