My friend gave me some seeds and I sowed the seeds in 2018. The name tag said "cauliflower" and just 3 were germinated.
To see earlier result, they were grafted and degrafted in September 2020.

These cacti do not show the character of cauliflower and flower colour is also abnormal.
I assume the cactus is a hybrid, fissuratus x retusus.

My friend gave me seeds which were harvested from his cacti. Seeds were Ariocarpus retusus cv tri-fingers.
I grafted 24 young seedlings but 12 scions were eaten by mice. One of survived cactus were in flower which was the 1st flower for the cactus.
Unfortunately the cactus has not shown the character of cultivar yet.

Summer-time finished in this morning and time moved backward for 1 hour. I watered every 2 weeks in summer but it was changed to every 3 weeks.
I started watering yesterday and completed in this morning.

The photo is cacti in the large greenhouse finished watering.

Also, do you have different watering methods for different species of cacti? Or do they all just get watered together? Thanks - just asking to know if it is alright to water them altogether (I just water them all at once since there's way too much and I don't have much time to care for them one by one). The air is also very bad right now, so I don't go visit the greenhouse very often. My collection has grown by quite a lot after I got way more plants than I initially expected from friends and nurseries. :-k

G'morning memememe,
How many plants are in the large greenhouse? Very nice ariocarpus, all from seed?
I have never counted because of too many.
All ariocarpus were propagated from seeds except some which are rooted off-sets.
It is not easy to buy ariocarpus plants in here.
Also, do you have different watering methods for different species of cacti? Or do they all just get watered together? Thanks
Normal cacti, all species are watered by a watering -can from top.
Cacti during rooting are dipped pots into water.

Since watering frequency is not same, I can not water together.
Normal cacti: every 2 weeks
Seedlings: weekly
Grafted cacti: weekly
Since watering is not finished in a day, I record watering history on Ipad to manage watering frequency.

Two uebelmannia species were in flower.

3rd photo is seedlings propagated from seeds which were harvested from the cactus on 2nd photo.
Seeds were sown last November but seedlings are still very small, just 1.5 mm in diameter. The germination rate of seeds was very bad.
