Cleistocactus hystrix

I've seen that the photo gallery for this species is still empty. I think the pictures I've made in San Diego desert Garden show this species.

This plant is actually referable to what used to be called, Cleistocactus ressianus, now lumped into Cleistocactus buchtienii.

Well, it's hard to ID a cacti not in the native habitat and not counting spines and ribs, seeing flowers. Could be Cleistocactus ressianus.

Pictures can be used for positive identifying if considered appropriate.
