Pardon Gemhunter, my English. . . Which picture do you think?
I do not understand the question. . . :?

What variant is 67025? Or what species in that case.

Good morning Gemhunter,

sometimes I'm a little slow (stupid). . .
It should be Ariocarpus retusus,
why are the edges of the warts are brown, I have no idea.

Maybe it's a long-lost subspecies. . . :D

Best wishes

K.W.

What a difference a few days make. My contest entry was taken 10/11/13 and these were taken late in the day 10/24/13. They are still going strong.

I find it interesting the the flowers on the large retusus (#4, right rear) have more pink tinting on the corolla ends each day and the v. trigonus which opened almost white has shifted a bit each day becoming quite yellow. No wonder this group creates so much confusion!
