Got a box with 10X Echeveria Cultivars by Schulz and apparently the box was punctured by some sharp object in mailing. Here is how the books look inside:
Fortunately, they were insured!

Man, what a strange week! It has been like that around here too, all sorts of snarls in communication and complications.

This is more common than not with the toys and gym equipment I receive and ship. Forklift operators are the worst offenders.
Its like the shippers are competing to see who can wreck the box without damaging whats inside.

Yeah, the insurance claim has been filed. It should be a pretty cut and dried case. I know all the people at my local post office and they often point out any damage before I see it.
Still a shame to have such beautiful books wrecked.

You going to have a scratch and dent sale?
It’s not the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.

I think so. Seems to be a real trend with these Echeveria books:Harriet wrote:You going to have a scratch and dent sale?

However, the bent corners thing is a lot more mild damage as you can't even tell with a new dust-jacket on.
Gotta wait for the insurance first, then I'll put them up.
