I am excited to announce that I will have a shipment of Pilbeam's new book "Echinocereus" shipped to me on Monday from England. Delivery time varies, but I'll post a note here as soon as I get them.

do you have any copies of blum and rutow around? This one by Pilbeam looks great also. I wish I were independently wealthy!!

Took less than a month - that's great!

In any case, it it follows the same format as Pilbeam's other books like "Mammillaria", "Ferocactus", and "Echeveria". It makes one wish that there was such a reference for every genus in the family.

I've got it! beautiful book, very informative with beautiful pictures and lots of them.

only downside is a few blurry pics, only a bit blurry though..

Yes, the pic quality is not the best on this one for some reason.

However, I find that even with super sharp pictures, using the web in combination with the book is the way to go. You just can't have too many pictures to compare with.
