Growth Habits: Usually solitary, globose to short cylindrical up to 4 inches (10 cm) wide, 8 inches (20 cm) tall.

Scientific name: Rebutia neocumingii.

Common names: None known.

Etymology: The name pays tribute to Wilhelm Weingart.
From the Latin word lanatus, meaning woolly.

Origin: Rio Grande, near Puente Arce, Cochabamba, Bolivia.

Light: Full sun to light shade.

Compost: Standard free draining cactus mix.

Water: Regular water in spring to autumn, allow soil to dry out between waterings, dry in winter.

Flower: Yellow.

Min temp: Will take a little below freezing for short periods if dry at the roots, it needs winter chill (below 45F, 7C) to bloom in summer.

Cultivation: As for most Weingartia this plant benefits from regular re-potting until it reaches a good size, thereafter every 2\3 years.

Comments. Yet another Weingartia that has been renamed as Rebutia neocumingii, I find it hard to think of a plant that flowers from the apex and grows this size in a single stem as being a Rebutia.
