Acharagma fruit

I managed to coax out a couple of fruit from Acharagma roseana. They just came off the plant this week, but were still quite juicy and sticky. I tried drying them for a few days but they just got sticker. I can manage to extract the small number of seeds from two fruits, but is this how they are supposed to be?

Being similar to Escobaria, maybe they need more time to dry out?
