Cacti of the United States and Canada

Post by peterb »

I'm stoked to have found a copy of this book in excellent condition on Amazon for only $100. Most of the copies in better condition I have seen have been $250 or more.

I'll finally be able to return the ASU library copy, which I have had out for *3 years*. :-)

I plan on reading it fairly systematically and comparing with more recent work by Zimmerman, Powell, Weedin, Ferguson, etc. I'll write up a few thoughts/perspectives when I'm done. It's a monumental work. I have often found the distribution maps helpful when I'm out on the hunt.
