It arrived today! , and it was heavier than I thought!
It seems like a very good book, full of great information, and I'm so glad there was a deal on Amazon. I can't put it down, and uh-oh, I'm falling behind on work.

This is indeed money well spent!Byron, I think your investment will prove to be money well spent,
I likewise got a copy back in June of this year. I personally love it, the structure of the book, the precluding chapters, etc. The chapter on cultivation wasnt terrible either, just not a focus of the book of course.
The Cactus Family makes a great reference on hard to find identifications, it will reinforce everything you know and give you a source to cite when needed. Definitely a good read. Dont set books on top of it or get ANY moisture in the pages, they seem somewhat inclined to stick together much easier then most books after having a few pounds of others set on top.
