Finally ordered me a copy. Now I will know what you experts are looking at on the side

Supposed to be here friday I cant wait!! Any tips on the book or is it pretty straight forward?

It's a really good book, but have your computer (or phone

) handy to cross reference some of the names and info.

In my opinion, Anderson's book has a great format. Two things would make it better, 1. More pictures - a pic of every species would be great. 2. Range maps. Pilbeam always includes those and I love that.

While the nomenclature on Anderson's work is disputed by many, what publication isn't that way?

I am sure you'll be pleased with the purchase.

Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like the book is full of fluff...it's a great resource worthy of the enthusiasts library.

Good point, thats what i like most with other books. Distribution maps!

cool, well I'm sure it will be a great building block as my first cacti book. Well not counting the CSSA journals.
