Ok, I went in ninja style knocking over anyone who got in my way to the hardy table :D

Turn out was down from last year, at least seemed that way. A few different dealers but mostly the same. Bob Smoley's table was mobbed again.

Here's a few pics I took of the show plants.

cool! talented growers there in Connecticut. I like the first "epi" growing in the head. Is that the other Aporocactus or?

Great Andy!
Are you the "nutjob"? Did you win?

I like the epi too. I wonder if it is a species.

Nothing from me. The show being held in early April is generally a problem for me as my plants are still shriveled up sitting in the basement :(

<~~~ tsk tsk at me. I went but forgot the camera. Glad Andy had it covered though.
I didn't stay to long as I was afraid of to many temptations to buy things I really don't have room for inside. I did manage to get to John Spains hardy table of course and found a couple new things for outside. He was to busy for me to horn in and ask questions but I figured the things he had should be reasonable for my garden also.

Oh I forgot to mention what I bought #-o

I picked up a Reichenbachii and Missouriensis as companions to the ones I already have, O. Rutilans ("Super Rutila") and O. Imbricata are new ones for me.

the highlight was when I saw a guy giving a hard look at a huge E. Grunsonii then later caught a glimpse of him walking out the door with it and a huge smile on his face

Looked like a good show and great pictures Andy :)

Nice choice on your newbies. You'll enjoy them as I do and they do well in my garden
