Haseltonia: CSSA Yearbook #14

Post by CoronaCactus »

Got my copy of Haseltonia today :) I didn't remember i had checked the box with my membership, so it was a bit of a surprise.

It's awfully technical and a bit over my head, but still lots more content thats easy to read. I was pleased to see so much on Opuntiads 8) The O. fragilis in Michigan article from a journal or 2 back looks to be an extended 10-12 page feature now. A large feature on Pereskia, Maihuenia and Blossfeldia too. Articles on Epiphytic cacti, Echinocereus fendleri, Astro Myriostigma, Aloe arborescens....

In an article about the Sonoran Islands Cacti, there are some incredible pics of islands dominated by dense forests of P. pringlei and S. thurberi.

I've only yet begun to read it, but wow, it's definetely an informative book!
