I purchased a Turbinicarpus horripilus earlier this year and was delighted with it pink flowers. So next year, I shall buy at least one more of this species, plus a number of plants I do not yet have.

it's the stupidity of the people that makes me so tired.
I wrote a short report about CAM plants. The reactions were partly shameful.
CAM mechanism in cacti, uninteresting - unimportant - unnecessary. . .
Similar to ignoring climate change. . .
This ignorance makes me tired. . .

It was a 30 minute talk for cactus people.
Cacti are CAM C4 plants, their metabolism is different. This can / should be considered in the care.
When 25 people listen, discuss and be happy afterwards, so am I.
If then three or four people explain, all nonsense, completely unimportant.
"We've been taking care of our plants for 40 years without knowing it, and anyway, scientists talk a lot of stupid stuff."

Since I do not want to get upset or even argue with such people, such fools always make me very tired. . .
