I'm just getting used to my camera so I have a lot of random shots that are not prize winning. (That doesn't stop me from sharing though!) Here is one of my favorites. I especially like how the "spines" are backlit! :wink:

No, but he smells like a stapelia sometimes! Depends upon what there is to roll in, or worse, eat. I should name him Canus fartblossomous.

For the last couple of hours of this contest : how about another shot from your outside environment (maybe even containig a succulent)- either barking or non - barking. :)

I feel so bad for the British Bee and its bee mites Ian, since all it's wanting to do is make royal jelly! However, I wouldn't mind at all if the mites attack the African Bees that are mixing and mingling with our American Bees...
