I'm glad to see someone else who lets their Obregonia see the sun occasionally.

If you put that Malphora in the ground, then you'll really see rampant! Cuttings are also easier than falling off a log. Of course the experts will tell you that its dormant in summer

My Obregonia flowered again, so it has flowered about 4 times so far this year. Didn't catch the flower with the camera, this is all I got.



I had thougt I lost my Echinocereus Viridiflorous. One day it looked fine, the next its top was all eaten and black with a bunch of little flies flying around it. I had never thrown it out for some odd reason and look what it is doing!





My little astros are gorwing and plumping up alot!



Same with the lithops



Look what I found on my Echinocactus horizonthalonius!!!

What a pretty flower and neat little hooked spine like things!

you are right. The Echinocactus horizonthalonius does not give you much warning when it intends to flower. At my place, when I see a little pink on the plant, the cactus will flower that very same day. The blossom opens up at around 9 a.m. and closes at about 3 p.m.. I found, however, that the plant will flower repeatedly.

Wow! That's quick!

Nice flower!

How fortunate that the "dead" plant decided to pup for you.

That "rebirth" is what makes it quite hard for me to throw any plant away that isn't 100% done for. It may be ugly for a while, but down the road, you'll be able to grow the good part and be done with the dead part.

I'm not sure how easy it will be to remove the seed pods once they are ready, behind all of those spines.





The Cholla is still growing like crazy!

The Echeveria flower stalks keep growing taller and taller!



The original flowers on the stalk have all died.



And the tops are continually growing more flowers! It's cool, but I didn't expect it to keep doing that for so long. Is it normal?



The Texas Sage is getting ready to bloom again. This will be the second time this year. Whenever it flowers it is covered in purple! Always a great show! Doesn't last long though.





Nice new growth on the E. Texensis.

Everything in the greenhouse is doing great, other than the few cactus that got sunburn before I put up a screen.

My Echinocactus horizonthalonius got a little yellow on one side.



This Gymnocalycium got burnt pretty bad on one side



Aside from those 2 plants everything is looking great!

Lots of new growth!









Lots of nice new purple growth on this one!



My damaged Echinocereus Viridiflorous pup is growing VERY fast!



Theres starting to be some color at the tips too.



The Adenium just loves it in the greenhouse! First it lost most of its leaves then it just starting growing, fast!



Same thing happened with this Euphorbia.




So it seems all of my plants really like it in there!

Did you know that you can eat the Mammillaria fruit? I tried them and they tasted pretty good, even though they aren't filling because of their size

The Echiveria flowers are normal. They will continue to grow until they touch the ground.

Are you sure if your E. horizothalonius isn't varigated?

Yes, I did know that it is edible, but I never tried one.
That will be a lot of little flowers!
Yes, When the Echinocactus started to sunburn it REALLY did look like it was variegated. I considered putting it up on ebay jk But now its more of a brown color than yellow.
