I really like those Mitrophyllum grande. I bought seeds of the Lekkersing locality from Mesa Garden a couple years ago and they have those listed as white flowering. In the second edition of the Aizoaceae volume of the Illustrated Handbook of Succulent Plants, Mitrophyllum grande is described as having petals white or yellow.

I think you are correct, it was just the book I was looking at
Other references say they have white flowers

Here is a plant that I struggle with
but only after replanting, if I keep it in the commercial soil, it thrives

I'm pretty much a total loser when it comes to trying to learn new computer stuff

Last week, I thought if I plugged my phone into my computer, I could listen to some I-tunes
No I-tunes came up on my Phone Files, but what's this, all my photos I ever took with the phone on one file!!!!

So I'm looking at the old photos, and I had some great stuff from 2016, right after I got the new phone
Why not post it here, since I thought they were long gone

On the same trip, I was sitting in a chair next to our truck (in the middle of the desert, rock collecting)
and I hear this rattling sound, like a baby rattler

so I look around and I find out that it's coming from this weird beetle walking super fast
so I took some photos, and looked it up

This batch of Avonia quinaria I'm been hoarding finally has some flowers
They only open for a day, so you have to keep a close eye on them to catch them
And only open on warm days in the late afternoon
Not self fertile
There are 17 separate plants in those tiny pots

Madagascar Euphorbias!

Our good friend Gary James is a specialist in them and has been there several times to see the plants in habitat
It turns out that Denise has quite a collection of rare plants she got from him over the years
I really didn't take notice of them until lately

Euphorbia razafindratsirae

When I repotted it, I noticed that the roots are made up of these ball like tubers that easily disconnect from the plant
I figured that the tubers would grow new plants if planted alone
and I was correct

Really nice Craig. Very interested in getting a couple of plants of E. parvicyathophora. I think I linked a YouTube video of a grower over in Indonesia with massive Euphorbia's, like your E. cylindrifolia. He had one on repotting his plants. Very worthwhile and eyeopening. English subtitles too.

Ceraria pygmaea is nice when it is a compact plant. But in cultivation it seems they always like to stretch out.

Mine are quite compact
I bought one from Woody in 1998 that was imported "so to speak"
I had a huge root/stem stock, it hasn't grown much bigger since then, but grows short stem sections every year
They grow nice tuberous roots from cuttings after a couple years, which we sell
But I will have seed grown soon, the seed are very viable

I have been growing Psuedolithos hybrids for years
It was pseudolithos migiurtinus x pseudolithos dodsoniana that flies had crossed
I called it the "Turd of Hearts"
Here are some photos from Sept. 2010

When visiting my nearby Asian Succulent Importer shop, "Mimi's"
I noticed that they had them for sale!!
It turns out that they are calling them Pseudolithos caput-viperae "Snake Head Pseudolithos"

Which I kind of doubt, I did have a real one years ago, it was more flattened.
