Thanks again.

I think you're right. I'll wait the flowers to open and then label these two plants. :)

1. Some sort of notocactus
2. Gymnovslycium pflanzii or saglionis
3. Agreed on Gymnocalycium anisitii (possibly ssp. Damsii)
4. Agreed
5. Very bloated lobivia arachnacantha or a hybrid thereof
6. Agreed
7. I think it's also parodia scopa
8. A rebutia\aylostera. DaveW would probably shed some light here

Number 6. May be Notocactus sucineus ssp. albispina, one of the N. scopa group.

https://public.fotki.com/GunnarHatletve ... eus-1.html

Notocctus sucineus itself is yellow spined.

https://www.casimages.com/u/Arverne/94636/4466560

The scopa group is very variable and there are many forms with spination from reddish through yellowish to white, some named as separate species and some not. Therefore it depends whether you are a "Lumper" or a "Splitter" whether you lump most as synonyms of scopa, or keep them separate.

@DaveW: thanks for the explanation! Any idea on number 8? Aylostera for sure, but can't figure out which. The flowers are a bit larger than my other Aylosteras.

@nachtkabb: 100% convinced. I've hold him next to my larger g. Saglionis en everything matches: color of the spines, ribs, form, everything. :)

There are so many Aylostera/Rebutia names you need a specialist to sort many out. Some are pretty distinct and easily identifiable, but many are much of a muchness. You may stand a better chance when it gets older and more characteristic.
