Yeah, i will no longer do plant business with Walmart . I'm going to buy a new one tomorrow, but this time at my local nursery. What kind of potting soil works for them as well as Aglaonema? is Espoma any good?

Re: Pothos root rot!!! Help!
The root rot was more likely caused by overwatering than poor soil. You can do pretty much anything to a pothos (Epipremnum aureum) and it will be fine as long as you don't overwater it.

Killing my previous Pothos made me feel like I couldn't grow plants because my aunt has a Pothos( she has a black thumb) that she has kept alive for years!. Then there's me(who has a fair amount of luck growing plants) who kills one of the easiest houseplants in the world lolol.

Don't feel too bad. I managed to kill an air fern -- quite a trick for something that wasn't alive! I kept shaking it to remove dust and it fell to bits.CactusBoss wrote:Killing my previous Pothos made me feel like I couldn't grow plants because my aunt has a Pothos( she has a black thumb) that she has kept alive for years!. Wow that's beyond a black thumb. I hope i can keep this and my new dieffenbachia. I'm concerned about the dieffenbachia regarding low humidity,
