hello everyone, please help with ID

hi everyone, i'm very new to cacti but i wish to become much more involved.
first i'd like to know what i have growing in my own backyard, so i'm calling out to the knowledgeable enthusiasts...

Looks like Oreocereus celsianus.
Forget the dog...Beware of the plants!!!

I don't think it's celsianus, but definitely an Oreocereus.

all I know is it's an Oreocereus. :)

Those stems look fairly thick. 4 to 5 inches?
How wide are they?
Forget the dog...Beware of the plants!!!

Oreocereus leucotrichus, maybe. Fantastic specimen, whatever it is.
