baby mesembs

Post by jamesfe »

So far I've had good germination rate with my mesembs. seed source (MSG) Mesemb Study Group. These type plants are a work in progress. I know I have a long way to go.

Two goals for me when I grow mesembs from seed...(1) to keep them alive for one year...(2)to keep them alive long enough to flower.

I had a Conophytum flower for me last fall. I was :D

Cool. I'm going to order a mix of Conophytum from Mesa in a couple of weeks and see what happens.

Those things are growing fast. I just made my order at Mesa yesterday, so I hope I have something to take pictures of in a couple of weeks.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA ^. Iann, that really is funny. I ordered four things. A mix of Coryphantha, a mix of Mammillaria, a mix of Conophytum, and some Fenestraria to replace some I drowned. When I made the order I was hoping that it would be enough to keep me happy at least until fall.
