M. Mystax grower

Ive been on this forum every now and then for a few months but i didnt notice this intro thread. As a mod on another forum, I know how important it is for new people to get to know each other.

I am from the Bay Area, CA.

I have a Mammallaria Mystax which i have been growing for a few months. I have been giving it full sun and watering with tap water. About a week or so ago i noticed buds in a ring around the cactus and they have now turned into bright reddish-purple flowers.

Pretty exciting.

Hey sounds great! I think there are a lot of us who started with just one Mammillaria. Next thing you know....
