Re: Pouched plants
Ariocarpus fissuratus is listed under CITES appendix 1. And wild collection/trade of appendix 1 plants is illegal without permits. Wouldn't that mean it's endangered? Endangered in the general sense but not in the legal sense as far as the United States is concerned because it is not on the US Enda...

Re: Cactus or Cacti?
OK. You intriged me. Let me say once more I'm not a native English speaker. But as I can understand this.... it would be: A. Cactus identification...if we talk about one cactus. B. Cacti identification...if we talk about several of them. At least in my language there would be something like that. I...

Re: Pouched plants
I have been folowing a couple sellers from texas that sell exclusively Ariocarpus fissuratus. They live near the natural habitat and the plants look like habitat plants. It really frustrates me. I sent them messages asking if they grew the plants themselves and they wouldn't respond. I wish I could...

Hi again Carl, Ok. Do you have cuttings from Epiphyllum, please ? I have Epiphyllum to swap too... I might have some although this is my first blooming season this year so much of what I have isn't confirmed although most are from trusted sources so I'd like to think they are correct. I'll keep you...

I don't have much to swap at the moment as most of my Aporophyllum's are just small cuttings (1-2yrs old) although I might be able to swap next year

I nbuse coconut coir/perlite 50:40amended with bonemeal ~ 1-2% and a dash of epsom salt to balance Ca & Mg, I also amend with bloodmeal to give some N and trace minerals. The Webercereus is readily obtanable from Don's cutting. I may be wrong but my Epiphyllum anguliger is less wide than my Web...

Re: Epiphyllum anguliger or Selenicereus anthonyanus or othe
Well truth be told their are at least 3 or 4 plants within Hylocereae which have this sort of "Ric-Rac" growth Epiphyllum anguliger , Epiphyllum chrysocardium , Selenicereus anthonyanus & Weberocereus imitans two of those are pretty scarce unless you actually make an effort to look for...
