Well sure, anything but green is variegated. But only white can be a true albino and you rarely see white on these grafted cacti, this is my first find ever.

I’ve never seen a grafted cactus with partial white offsets! It certainly is stunning looking!

I think Keith means the constriction in the growth of the scion Spence, not that it is a graft? That is just caused by a halt in growth due to adverse growing conditions at the time and then normal growth resuming when conditions improved. Maybe it stopped growing due to the retailers poor display ...

They sell many grafted mutations and variegates like that and some good own root plants, a very interesting specimen.

Spines are white with black tips, hair patches between bumps are now growing long, white hairs and it has not flowered yet.
