It's true. You just can't make this up.

You know, the perfect combo is CPs and Stapeliads. Don't think there's a fly left in my whole 'hood!

Heliamphora tatei

Heliamphora are only found on the top of "tepuis" which occur in a few South American countries. They're non active volcanoes with often impossibly steep sides, so many of the plants that grow there have only been know to science since helicopters. So far, there have been about a dozen Hel...

Lookin' more like a scorpion

Odontophorus marthothii, a half year or so after my first pic. I'm telling you, this is exactly how scorpions look in that area of the world. Too much coincidence if you ask me. If I were a rabbit, I'd rather starve than eat this.

I've started pretty much all my seedlings with just those cheap, twisty CFL bulbs. Regular light bulbs don't put out as much of the stuff plants need, and can get too hot. You can also put aluminium foil around the container to reflect even more light on to the seeds.

I've got two now that I've grown from seed, and they're both blooming. I'd LOVE to have about 1000 seedlings....

My land line has been the same for 12 years, and all my business stuff links to it. Yellow pages, website, internet history etc... can't change it even though I would LOVE to dump it. If I could get all calls to that number routed to my cell (and not give up my current cell number) I'd be one happy ...
