You might want to check out O.santa rita.It is purplish,and somewhat cold tolerant.Zone 6 I think?I dont think it is very moisture tolerant at all,and would need VERY free draining mix.You didnt say if you wanted it outdoors,or your temp. range and rainfall amounts.I bought an opuntia that has purpl...

Sorry about your losses.I have all of my cold hardies in pots still.I chickened out and brought mine in right before a 0F cold spell.We had one of the wettest Octobers on record with over 12 inches of rain.51 inches of rain total this year.I wish you luck the rest of the year.
