Check out this post on my blog: http://gypscoprotheres.blogspot.nl/2012/07/saguaro-seedlings-carnegiea-gigantea.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It might help you to compare and identify your plant. ;) I've fried some of my Saguaro seedlings in the past, so I would recom...

Re: What I'm going to sow 2015!
Arg... I'm too late for the Czech seed supplier... You can only order there till January, the 15th and they haven't respond to my email yet.
I'm not planning to pay more than 5/6 Euro for 20 seeds, so I'm still searching. Does anyone have an idea what to do?

Re: Growing saguaros
Reading back in my papers: 2011 -15 seeds -15 popped up (including 1 double-header) -14 alive after 3 months -all 14 still alive today (if the ones I've given away are also still there) (with other seeds I was less lucky...) 100 out of 130 is a good job. 100 saguaro's! Lucky for you that they don't ...

Re: What I'm going to sow 2015!
Nice. I'm also almost only buying/sowing smaller species (okay, you haven't read T. pachanoi up there!), but in the first few years I've sown too many columnar cacti and I'm already afraid for the future! Luckily they'll take ages (well... decennia) to really occupy a lot of space, so I still have s...

Re: What I'm going to sow 2015!
@Aiko: Thank you for the offer! I'm going to buy the Euphorbia seeds from Bercht's list this year. I've read somewhere that Euphorbia seeds should be fresh before sowing and I've had some bad luck before, so I would like to say yes to your offer. Till now I didn't have any success with sowing other ...

What I'm going to sow 2015!
Finally we're getting close to the sowing season (although some people even sow in the winter!). I can't wait to place my order and I'm already exited. I really have to hold back a bit, because sowing 15 different species, like I did some years ago, really sucks up my space! What I'm planning to sow...

Euphorbia gorgonis
Hi all, I have a question about my Euphorbia gorgonis. Actially it's about E. gorgonis in general. What is the minimum winter temperature they can stand? Then I have another question. My plant flowered this yer and now there are some small fruit-like things growing on the place where the flowers wer...

Now it's flowering and I was hoping to maybe find a ssp or variety for this G. saglionis. Any guesses?

Re: Damage, disease or bugs?
Never seen 'scale bugs' in my life, but that name seems to fit what I see! It's to thick for being sunburn and they do look like scales...adetheproducer wrote:Scale bugs by the look of it.
