Re: 2 Diff. Anacampseros

Hello,
the 2nd plant looks familiar to me. I got one very similar at a conference of the FGaS (Scientific organisation for other succulents) as Anacampseros baeseckei. I would love to trust that name but are still arguing with myself if it might be a A.filamentosa.

Aloe ...who?

Hello everybody, years ago when my plant was very young, we tried to put a name to it & ended up with Aloe ferox. Then many said that it was too young to be named with confidence. So today I try it again as I am really not that secure. When I look at pictures of A.ferox in the net, their plants ...

Re: Aloe roeoeslii

Hello Perez-Suarez, thank you very, very much for those impressive pictures. I am very impressed: healthy plants, youngsters & oldsters, great variety, interesting gardens, great pictures. For me living in the relatively could Germany, it is always wonderful to see such plants grown outside, in ...

Re: Help identifying this Unknown Crested Cactus

Thanks for the help! If I my ask, mind sharing what happened to yours? Sorry, Lolavy, I wasn't able to come to the forum for quite some time. I got my C.winteri in summer 1999 from a dear friend. In 2016 we renovated our flat & had to cram loads of cacti into one single room "for a fortnig...

Very nice, thank you for the pictures, leland. Incredible for me living in Germany that you drive around & just meet such plants at the roadside.... WOW!

Question: Is it possible that IMG_3747.jpg shows a Wallisia...?

Crassula pyramidalis flowering

Hello,
my Crassula pyramidalis is flowering! I had never expected such buds & flowers growing out of the end of a twig.
The diameter of the flowers is about 3mm (0.12in).

Conny wants to try out flowering

Hello folks, in July 2021 you helped me to identify a Selenicereus cutling, see https://cactiguide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=388634. This year already the Selenicereus coniflorus aka "Conny" is building at least three buds. If will actually flower, I will add pictures here. Can't wait... 8...

Re: I am 45.If it is late to sow Ariocarpus seeds?

Hello folks, everywhere in the world, people are terribly fast-moving & always want everything IMMEDIATELY. It is very relaxing & refreshing to me to read your posts where you discuss without pressure that cacti sown today might flower in ten years time. Hooray! =D> I think I am back to the ...

Re: Aloe roeoeslii

Thank you for sharing. Without the name tag & at first glance I had thought this might be an Aloe vera.
Are you an Aloe buff?
What is the specialty of this species, please? Curious minds wanna know. :-)

Good luck with your nice kindergarten.
