Wrong. I've used perlite for longer than I can remember and it's never dissolved by water. Vermiculite will squash down, but never dissolve either. If your "Perlite" is dissolving, then somebody sold you something that is not true perlite.

I have ordered seeds from this place several times and shipped to Canada. No problem and their service is excellent!

Yes! I've used it for years. It's the deodorizer spray. It is also good for powdery mildew. Another solution for powdery mildew is a mix of 1 part milk and 3 parts water and spray the mildew.

Re: white fur growing on soil.

I have used Lysol bathroom spray for that problem. I usually don't have mold problems, probably because I always lightly bottom water and rarely water from the top.

Re: LONG HARD WINTER.

Re: Re-potting Again

I have done that several times with my cactus as well as my jades with no problem. I just don't water them for several days so they get their roots adjusted.

Re: Mother Plant Care after taking a cutting?

I would have let the cutting area on the mother plant dry for a few days before putting it back in the pot. If it doesn't dry and heal over, it may start to rot.
