Edit : Is there a reason why yours has bigger and more sounds then mine ? IDK, there could be a number of reasons. Yes they seem to love the direct sunlight and tolarent of damp soil as long as it is sunny. Only time I move mine is when it rains for several days straight and of course for winter.

You could try another image host like http://imgur.com/ and click the "new post" at the top of the screen then paste the url here. Opuntia microdasys var. albispina are often called "bunny ears". If they're becoming elongated then that might be sign that they need more light. ht...

The cactiguide says that species is pretty rare to find but sure does look alot like it. I think it might be just a look alike or a similar species. Any ideas what it might be?
