Re: Dorstenia soil
Commercial cactus mix tend to have too much fine particles, so I'd recommend adding something like pumice or perlite. Bonsai soil can also be a good addition, it's very well-draining. More generally, if your plant is in a cold spot / getting less light at the moment you should water less frequently....

Raised scabs on succulent leaves
Raised, beige scabs at the base of echeveria purpusorum leaves and possibly on the stem. The scabs are silvery, with little black dots and some are slightly cracked. The bottom leaves are more affected, and I don't see any bugs. The plant doesn't seem too affected but I still worry. I've been bottom...

Cause of stretching
So, I got a baby graptopetalum (I think) from a friend, and despite my best efforts, it keeps stretching out. I cut the stem once, removed the lower leaves and planted it with only the top emerging, but it just stretched right back up. The leaves on the lower part of the stem aren't falling off eith...

Re: Two succulents ID
That does look like Pachyphytum compactum! Thanks
And it could be Sedeveria ‘Hummelii’, especially since the tips of the older leaves turn red-ish

Two succulents ID
Hi! I've been looking around, but I can't find possible candidates as to what those two succulents might be. The second one has a little bit of epicuticular wax, and you can't see it in the pictures, but the tips on the leaves turned red after enough time under a lamp. Any suggestion is helpful! Tha...

Unusual Epiphyllum anguliger cutting
I have two cuttings of Epiphyllum anguliger that have started growing new stems, but they seem a much different shape that the original plant, and have needles. I thought Epiphyllum anguliger didn't have needles? Has anyone seen this before?

Possibly Graptoveria ‘Opalina’ & unknown
Hi! I have two succulents I'd need help to identify! At first I thought #1 was a Graptoveria ‘Opalina,’ because it has the rosette and blue-grey leaves with a pink exterior that seemed about the right shape. However, mine keeps growing long stems, even while being under a lamp with sufficient (I ass...
