This succulent has started developing these dark spots since it was exposed to cold temperatures in December. They have gradually increased in size since they started. I also noticed the succulent growing some ariel roots aswell. The plant is currently dormant.

Yes. That horrid cold spell in December has killed all but 6 of my plants and 3 of the surviving ones don't look great. Absolutely devastated. I grow mine in an unheated greenhouse and the next cold spell I will be bringing them indoors.

I've had this cactus for 3 years and it does not grow taller it grows wider. Produces flowers in late may/early June. Very cold hardy.

Unfortunately the smaller plant had died as the tip was brown and the stem was rotten. The larger one still looks okay at the tip but with substantial leaf loss.

All you can do is wait. If it were me. If there any leaves that seem solid,I would pluck a couple. Also it looks like you already had a couple laying on the soil. Yes there was condensation initially on the leaves as the plant was thawing out, but now it's completely dry.
