Re: Mealies and flat mites and scale -- oh, my! (Updated 6/11/2022)
I recommend applying 3 to 4 weeks after the first dose. I see very little sign of mealies or mites, but there are still some thrips here and there. I did 2 applications so far, several months apart, and want to do a third application soon. But it takes several hours to do it right, which I don't enj...

Re: Expectations when purchase new cacti Question?
It looks like dried up rot to me
I would try to remove some of it, or not.
I sure wouldn't sell a plant that looks like that, and would send a replacement or refund if I did.

Use the label recommended strength, 6 to 12 ml per gallonI found this product on Kakteen Haage: https://www.kakteen-haage.de/en/accesso ... 30-ml.html
In what strength do you use it to water your plants?
I use 12 ml per gallon for maximum effect.

Re: C and D's Succulents
All Gibbaeum go dormant in Summer, a little summer water won't hurt them, they are pretty hardy But you need t keep them dry enough so they don't stack leaf pairs As you can see, the old leaves are still present, but will shrivel by summer Lithops optica Rubra April 29, still have their old leaves, ...

Re: Lithops Optica Rubra growing advice
My Optica still have the old leaves, and will take a couple more months to shrivel
But I may give them some water now, here in sunny California On the other hand this Lithops gracilidelineata

Re: Growing Lithops and Other Difficult Mesembs
I start watering my Lithops selectively around Late March, early April
Some still have there old leaves, but by May, it's all dried up
Some species dry up quicker.
But that's my conditions in Sunny So. Cal
I water them weekly May until Sept
