Re: I am 45.If it is late to sow Ariocarpus seeds?

I'm 65, and I plan on planting Ariocarpus seeds every year for the rest of my life.
Some I planted 20 years ago are bigger than I could ever imagined.
Some I planted 5 years ago are very nice sized.

Re: When to repot Lithops

I would just rip them apart dry and clean off the roots best you can leave the main root intact I then like to let the plants rest unrooted a couple days or a week for the wounds to heal then pot up with new soil then wait a couple months before watering, since it's still Winter Lithops can take nor...

Re: C and D's Succulents

The genus of Argyroderma are a baffling group They all have very distinctive cup flowers But there are so many different forms, from small clusters to fat singles Species names are hard to confirm, so many go as Argyoderma sp. They don't always flower, and the flowering season for me is from Sept to...

Re: Cacti we've lost

"I've lost so many, I don't want to talk about it" One thing good about growing plants, if you kill one, it's not the end of the world not like losing a pet dog, or even a lizard but you don't want a 1000 dogs, one dog is all you need More plants can be grown in time Here are my top 2 plan...
