Hello and thank you for commenting Jangaudi! Yes, the first is an agave, but the second one is a Mangave.

Hellenic Society of Cacti and other Succulents Show

Dear Cactophiles, sharing some of the amazing plants in the last show, which took part on the 23rd of February, 2020. The main genus was Adromischus, due to the seminar about it, but as always plants from other genera were also exhibited. Hope you enjoy and thank you for looking!

Re: ~A glimpse into my cacti world~

Hello dear cactophiles! I hope you are well, healthy and happy and that your plant collections are giving you great joy. My collection has grown to a point where I had to move my biggest plants in the roof terrace, but I also did it for those particular plants, which need many hours of sunshine for ...

Re: ~A glimpse into my cacti world~

Hello dear cactophiles! My collection is growing nicely these days, although at a hiatus this moment due to various everyday life distractions. I have had numerous bloomings of my cacti, all of them giving me joy. Summer has been harsh with its heat, but we had a week or so of more windy days and lo...

Welcome! Nice talavera pottery, I too love these although they are a bit hard to be found in my neck of the woods.

Re: Attempts at growing Mesembs in the tropics

I only have about a handful of these and they do seem to go incredibly slow for me also. I don't know if this is the normal, as I do not have experience in their cultivation and only bought some to try my hand on them. I'm interested to know what other members say on the matter.

Re: ~A glimpse into my cacti world~

And some of my beloved Ferocacti and some cacti from other genera, which I have been adding to my collection steadily. I have already replanted many of them. This year the replanting/replacement of soil in so many pots was quite a work, many days with many hours of each have gone into this. I keep l...
