Hi everyone. I am a new cactus owner and I knownothing about how to take care of it. My son just got it for me for Mother's Day. I didn't even realize that there are so many kinds of cacti. Can anyone help figure out what kind I have and where I can find out the proper care?

Hello, welcome! It's grafted Mammillaria gracilis cv Oruga, google care for Mammillaria gracilis, it's very simple.

In 2 words: some direct sunshine plus watering when the soil is already dry.
It is grafted onto another cactus so you are owner of two species now.

Right. And both need different care.
Hylocereus don't survive in dry low temps but Mam. needs it.
I'd advice to root one pup and care it as usual desert cactus. It will be more pretty without grafting om own roots.

Agreed. M. gracilis is easy to grow on its own roots, the only reason they graft them is to produce many clones quickly. The Hylocereus, when used as a rootstock, tends to be short-lived (it wants to grow into a big viny thing), the Mam. will need to be rooted eventually if you want to keep it alive more than a few years. Rooting a piece right away will give you some insurance.
