Moon Cactus Scion Growtg

Hello everyone,

My moon cactus has something growing on the scion, and I was wondering if someone could tell me what it is??

Your cactus is flowering. I mean, besides all those yellow pups, that thing on top is a flower bud.

So the yellow part that fell off and is on top of the dirt I can plant to grow another cactus?

Uhm, no. Those yellow pups, as the mother plant, have suffered a mutation and they lack chlorophyll, so they can't feed themselves. This is why you'll always find these abnormal colour (yellow, red, etc, with no tint of green at all) cacti grafted. Take a look at this normal Gymnocalycium mihanovichii.
