Could you guys help me which one i have and what are the differences between these cultivars?

I believe hobbit and gollum are considered to be the same

Zone 10b (yearly minimum temperature 1-5° C)

Fishhook cacti are like cats, they only like to be petted in one direction

So did I but according to World of Succulents they are very similar but not the same

According to this the plant in question more likely is Gollum.

This is a little embarrassing as I just researched it for cataloging my own collection, but I seem to be incorrect. My most trusted resource, llifle, suggests they're different cultivars too (which I somehow missed earlier...). I believe you are correct that it's more likely to be Gollum. I'm glad I didn't make tags based on my mistake yet at least...

Lord of the rings has escaped to even enter the plant nomenclature
Guessing I've missed out on something in the last few years

They have been given different cultivar names, but I find most of them end up with at least a few leaves of the other one.
