I seem to have stumbled into a "few" meters of the stuff somehow.
In seriousness, the finally came when my backyard monster needed to be tackled, with it's increasing size it was just too large for the little area it was planted in. Also leaning over the fence into the neighbors yard.
Before I took the pruning saw to it.

And the resulting pile of cuttings.

All done while wearing Australian approved PPE, ie tradie's shorts and thongs (the on your feet kind). Only minor blood loss occurred.
Anyone need some M. geometrizans cuttings?

That's a lot of grafting stock!
Nice plant, shame it had outgrown its welcome.

Can you box it all up and ship it to the UK?

I'd love to have some. I'm in the US though so this probably isn't possible

If your offer is serious, I'd put my hand up for some. Could do with the grafting stock.

Sad to see it go but being in the pool area with young grandkids it was just starting to get too much of a hazard.
Had it's last laugh though, gave me enough cuts and stings that it today hurts closing my left hand. Been digging spine tips out all day with needle and tweezers, still have one or 2 stubborn ones stuck.

If you are anywhere near the west, St Clair here, your welcome to come pick up as much as you like! Going to take me weeks to portion this lot out in the green bin!supergodzilla wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 12:09 am If your offer is serious, I'd put my hand up for some. Could do with the grafting stock.
