Is this a right way of using osmocote?...
I always thought that 3-5 pelettes is enough at a time

Re: Help identifying please
Well the osmocote is concentrated in one area. I use the same amount of osmocote in the picture ( high K) but I spread it evenly in the pot. The amount I put depends on the plant and pot size. I have had good results using osmocote, it is cheap and easy to add.

Thanks for the info...
I always thought that 5 pelettes at a time were enough...add more if the osmocote is consumed...
I think the guy in the pict uses a handfull of them
Re: Help identifying please
The manufacturers of Osmocote would be shocked at the idea of only using 5 pellets in a pot! LOL. I've used it at my parents house on outdoor plants and use a small handful on every plant. Seems to work well. It looks like you've got some soil in your bark or some bark in your soil, I can't tell which.
