Cactus Picture Contest #17 Discussion Page

Post by daiv »

Ok everyone -let's put something out there for the next contest. I'm open to ideas here.

I've got an Idea -hear me out.

Best Opuntia!

I'm thiking that a lot of times Opuntia gets over-looked. Because of this, it will take some artistic composition ability to get a photo that will get the voters attention. So this contest will put your camera skills to the test.

The only thing is Bill might start signing up under all kinds of different user names so he can vote for every one!

Hi- I think best Opuntioid, sensu lato, is a great idea, encompassing every genus included in that subgroup (Opuntia, Grusonia, Cylindropuntia, Puna, Microcylindropuntia, etc, etc, etc)

Ok, I'm with you. Include them all. That is ok by me.

Any other thoughts folks?
