First T. valdesianus went in flower some days ago.
The fruit of this Gymnocalycium anisitsii is ripening since last fall.

Re: Days of my cacti lives - in pictures
Well, let's see, what happened in March.
Some Turbini's continued with flowers.
And lot of others got buds.
Parodia crassigibba - just 2 ones. Was more last year.
Echinopsis aurea v. leucomalla.
Echinocereus fendleri - first bud since I have it, still growing.
Took this pot outside on the deck. No watering it, it's still around or below 0 night time. Tunilla sp.
I also support that "wooden boxes" approach for outside but my boxes are too chunky for my indoor windowsills.
Other indoor Tunilla plants showed some growth even still kept dry.
This outdoor survivor, a hybrid Opuntia was transplanted from the pot to the ground.
Other winter survivors - Pediocactus simpsonii v. minor.
Some new buds are seen between spines at the top.
Two Haworthia almost in bloom too.

Re: Days of my cacti lives - in pictures
Not much cacti flowers were caught this April, I was away.
M. karwinskiana.
Echinopsis aurea var. leucomalla. All three plants bloomed in a few days.
And this Lophophora always surprises me because of the top wool that hides the buds until flowers open.
But I wanna show you here some pictures of big plants part of my remote collection left in Europe years ago.
Ferocactus pilosus.
Ferocactus histrix.
Ferocactus gracilis.
Acanthocalycium violaceum = Echinopsis spiniflora. Successfully coexisting with Mammillaria sheldonii self-seedling in the same pot. ↓
Echinocereus engelmannii.
Lot of offsets on some of these.
Mammillaria formosa, I think.
An old multi-branched Echinocereus reichenbachii.
A branched Astrophytum myriostigma.
Mammillaria wagneriana.
An old Stenocactus.

And I got another surprise from my Discocactus boomianus:
Buds are growing fast, so in a day or so we should see some flowers.
