Cactus Identification please

Hi
I was given this cactus about 5 months ago and was told that it has white flowers which are nocturnal and its common name is Moon Cactus. It has four ribs up most of its length but near the top a fifth rib is growing. It's growing well in very sandy soil along the Eastern facing side of our shed and as started growing new shoots close to the base of the plant. It's weathered our Winter well but the snails like to nibble on it.

I got the impression it was quick grower by the way it as grown since my planting it into the ground. Hopefully it will repay me with some beautiful flowers!
