Updated seed lists
Updated seed lists
As it is the time to start ordering seeds again, let's start a notification when certain seed lists are updated.
ADBLPS from France has updated its list since last Monday or Tuesday: http://adblps-graines-cactus.com/commander_EN.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Oddly though, at the time of writing the links to the PDF and excel files do not work. But if you go to the France version (http://adblps-graines-cactus.com/commander.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) you can download the files. Or change the links of the PDF and Excel to 24 November instead of 25 November...
Interesting notes: compared to last year the list now includes less Massonia species (boooo!), but the rare Yavia cryptocarpa is on the list again and this list is the only one I know of that offers Yavia seeds.

Re: Updated seed lists
Earlier there were more updates:
From the Czech Republic, both Kaktusy Cacti Growers Club Hradec Králové and Cactus Hobby Brno have been updated much earlier, somewhere in October already. (I ordered from them both again after good experience with them last year)
Also Koehres from Germany has been updated as of earlier this week.

Piltz in Germany has been updated in October already.
Re: Updated seed lists
The seed list of Ludwig Bercht has come out too. The website has not been updated (yet), but I received a list via e-mail. I am sure you can contact him via the website for a list request. Highly specialised on South American cacti, of which many many Gymnocalyciums.
Re: Updated seed lists
Also African Bulbs has updated their list. You can request their list via www.africanbulbs.com/page28.html by sending them an e-mail. I spotted some very interesting Massonia seeds...!

Re: Updated seed lists
Succulenta has been updated too.
Both members and non-members can order. But members go first.
To view the seedlist, see the PDF file.
Ordering instructions are in Dutch only, it seems: www.succulenta.nl/downloads/Webbestel2013.pdf

Another Czech seed list updated: http://www.sukulenty-sps.cz/clanky/nabi ... -2014.html...
Re: Updated seed lists
Aiko, Alplains may have posted an update but the 2014 list is apparently not available yet - at least as of this afternoon - or so the website indicated.

Re: Updated seed lists
It appears the seed list of Cactus-Aventures is updated.
I have no experience with Cactus-Aventures (the list and the magazine), so I do not know if it is a reliable seed source.
Truth be told, I do find the seed list highly unaccessible. No payment through paypal possible (we don't all have credit cards), bank transfer is high (IBAN should make this 0 within EU...!) and postal charges are even sky high. And the website itself is a pain to load and to read through or flip through. On top of it all, it lists about half of the mentioned species as 'sold out'. What is the use of that, I wonder? If it used to be on the list previous years but is not there for 2014, then just do not mention it! Now I have to find my way through lot's of 'junk', and I drool over Bulbine vitrea seeds that apparently are not available anymore.
Put that all together, and it is absolutely not an incentive for me to place an order there. But maybe others have some positive feedback that is actually based on experience?

Re: Updated seed lists
The 2014 seed list of the Mesemb Study Group (MSG) has been published too. Only available for members, though.... The list includes some rarer oddities like: Conophytum cubicum, Conophytum hammeri, Conophytum obcordellum 'Ursprungianum' and Conophytum stephanii ssp. helmutii.
