Spring blooms
Spring blooms
The cactus flowering season is underway here in New Hill, North Carolina.
Echinocereus chloranthus is covered in buds and blooms, while E. reichenbachii perbellus looks on in the background powering up for its own display.

Re: Spring blooms
One of my 2011 Trichocereus hybrids with exceptional growth (stout and upright) toppled over in November, so I moved it into a pot in the greenhouse.
Except for T. 'Flying Saucers' it is the first of my Trichocereus hybrids to bloom - and is the only one with white flowers (so far).
Hard as it is to believe looking at this plant, the mother plant is a Trichocereus bruchii hybrid = low, round, but of large size.

Re: Spring blooms
I envy you your Echinocereus coccineus. I'm trying to get a pair of that spicies, but it seems no nursery in Slovenia has them. I guess I will have to go on net buying them. And I just am not comfortable with that. I mean one is to buy seeds on net, totaly another thing is to buy cacti on net. Or isn't it?
Anyway. Your Echinocereus coccineus are knock off.
